BY THE LAKE
SUNSET CRUISE
SUNSET AT VILLA PLINIANA
We sail along the “Golden Mile” and discover the highest concentration of historic villas on the lake: Villa Olmo, Villa Erba, Villa d’Este, Villa Fontanelle, Villa Oleandra (George Clooney’s residence), and Villa Pliniana, which changes size depending on the distance from which it is observed. We will revisit the memorable scenes of Hollywood films shot in this part of the lake. We will enjoy the sunset in front of Villa Pliniana and return to Como.
Duration: 1 hour.
SUNSET AT VILLA BALBIANELLO
We will follow the 1-hour cruise, then we will get a closer look at the Orrido di Nesso, sail along the Grand Canyon of the lake until we reach the deepest point, the tip of Cavagnola.
From here, we set course for Isola Comacina, Zoca de l’Oli, and Punta Balbianello. We will revisit the scenes of Hollywood films – Star Wars, 007 Casino Royale, and others – shot in the lake’s most famous sets. We will enjoy the sunset at the Balbianello peninsula and return to Como.
